NaNoWriMo Week 1 ~ 11/1 – 11/6

Cheers to our first week!

I’m honestly surprised by how much I was able to draft within these few days and I can see the benefit of having a deadline hanging over your head. Sometimes we need a little fire under our bum to get the ball rolling.

But I’ll admit that it kind of pains me to draft an entire chapter without rereading it because I’m afraid of the overall story lacking cohesion by the time November 30th rolls around. So I’ll likely designate a date for making edit comments.

Though Friday was the only day I didn’t work on my NaNo project, I ended up drafting a flash fiction/short story that came to mind. I’m going through edits as I blog!
